Butang ini boleh diletakkan di mana-mana web atau blog dan pelawat-pelawat yang mempunyai facebook boleh terus tekan butang ‘Like’ dan mereka akan disenaraikan dalam member website atau blog tersebut dan mengikut kata Facebook mereka ini akan mendapat berita dari semasa ke semasa setiap kali anda update web / blog tersebut.

Pada pendapat saya lagi butang ‘Like’ ini adalah ‘two way communication’ di mana pemilik blog atau web boleh menyiarkan artikel mereka di web/blog kepada follower mereka di facebook dgn mudah manakala sesiapa yang klik butang ini pula akan disenaraikan dalam web/blog tersebut dan bila ada org lain yg klik pada nama/gambar anda, mereka juga akan sampai di page anda di Facebook… sama lebih kurang fungsinya macam MyBlogLog, NetworkedBlogs dan yang lain-lain yang seangkatan dengannya…

So saranan saya selain daripada masukkan butang ni ke dalam blog/web masing-masing, saya juga sarankan kepada mereka yang nak popular di Facebook atau nak mempromosikan diri mereka secara online melalui Facebook agar segera lah cari mana-mana web lain yang menggunakan butang ‘Like’ ini dan jangan segan sila untuk klik pada ‘Like’ tersebut

Gmail Scam

Jika anda mendapat email yang meminta anda untuk mengemaskini maklumat peribadi anda seperti username, password, tarikh lahir dan negara seperti di atas saya nasihatkan anda untuk abaikan dan segera DELETE!

Sememangnya ini adalah email scam, suatu penipuan di mana ada pihak yang tidak bertanggungjawab menyamar konon-kononnya mereka ni dari pihak pengurusan Gmail bertujuan bagi mendapatkan maklumat peribadi anda untuk mengakses akaun gmail anda.

Lepas mereka dah dapat maklumat-maklumat yang membolehkan mereka akses gmail anda, anda boleh lah ucapkan selamat tinggal kepada gmail anda tersebut dan yang lebih malang lagi sekiranya anda ada menggunakan email tersebut untuk tujuan-tujuan penting seperti perbankan dan sebagainya, silap-silap haribulan dengan akaun bank anda pun mereka akan dapat ceroboh dengan hanya merompak email anda.

Internet ni memang banyak kelebihan dan amat memudahkan urusan seharian anda tapi berhati-hati lah menggunakannya kerana internet ini hanya lah sebagai alat. Internet tak bersalah, internet tak jahat, tapi manusia yang menyalahgunakannya lah yang jahat.

Seumpama pisau sebagai alat memotong, mencincang, menyembelih kalau digunakan pada daging atau ikan untuk tujuan baik seperti buat korban atau untuk masak itu memang baik dan memang amat diperlukan tapi dalam masa yang sama jangan lupa ada orang yg juga boleh menggunakan pisau untuk merompak orang lain, membunuh orang lain dan sebagainya.

Sebenarnya untuk pengetahuan anda lagi, pihak pengurusan Gmail sebenarnya adalah dari Google dan pihak Google hanya akan hantar email daripada alamat email yang berakhir dengan doman @google.com tanpa sebarang pengubahsuaian pada ‘extension’ maksudnya bukan @google.net atau @google.us atau @google.org dan sebagainya hanya @google.com semata-mata.

Pihak Google juga sesekali tak akan membatalkan akaun Gmail anda tanpa sebab lebih-lebih lagi dengan meminta anda memasukkan username dan password kecuali sekiranya anda melanggar syarat-syarat yang telah ditetapkan. Lagi pun jika fikir secara logik, mereka telah pun ada maklumat username dan password dalam database mereka, jadi tiada sebab untuk mereka meminta lagi daripada anda andai benar mereka memang nak batalkan akaun anda!

Walau bagaimana pun saya telah pun buat aduan kepada pihak Google dan akaun penghantar tersebut telah pun dibatalkan beberapa hari yang lepas dan hari ini saya keluarkan posting ni di blog saya untuk meminta anda yang lain supaya lebih berhati-hati dan tidak mudah terpedaya dengan penipuan seperti ini lagi.

Gmail has integrated chat functionality which automatically connects and talks with Google Talk, a VoIP (voice over IP) and instant messaging service by Google. With integrated chat in Gmail, users do not need to download and install Google Talk client and still can send instant messages to friends and buddies in Google Talk or contacts in Gmail.

Now Gmail Chats has added interoperability capability with other IM networks, namely AOL Instant Messaging service AIM. Gmail users can now sign in to AIM account to chat with AIM buddies from within Gmail webmail interface. Although not advertised, Gmail users can actually also login and connect to ICQ network using their UIN (Universal Internet Number or Unified Identification Number) with its password.

Once log in and connected, the buddies, friends, or contacts from AIM or ICQ will populate the Gmail Contacts list. To differentiate the AIM or ICQ contacts from Google Talk contacts and Gmail users, a small AIM icon is appended at the end. Beside, all third party IMs are searchable just like the Google Talk contacts. And, you can start chatting with your friends at AIM or ICQ by simply clicking on their names. The integrated chats with AIM/ICQ feature in Gmail is also useful is your network blocks access to AIM or ICQ instant messaging server, or using IM in office is forbidding, and you don’t want others to suspect (Gmail is good hiding smoke screen compared with other multiprotocol desktop based or web based IM clients such as Trillian or meebo), or you simply don’t want to install additional IM clients on your computer.

Logon to Gmail now to sign in to AIM/ICQ.

So far until Windows Live Messenger 2009, all versions of MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger (WLM) does not support running multiple instances of the program. It means that at any one time, only one Windows Live Messenger program is allowed to be launched, effectively restricts WLM users to login to just not more than 1 account at one time.

In Windows Live Messenger 2009 (current version installable through Windows Live Essentials), Microsoft has added support for running multiple instances of Windows Live Messenger, allowing user to sign in to multi-login and log on to multiple accounts. The helper external third party programs such as MultiLive or MultiMSN no longer required.

The support for multi-WLM is not enabled by default, but can be easily turned on and enable with registry hack.

1. Run Registry Editor (regedit).
2. Navigate to the following registry key:KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Live\Messenge

   For 64-bit (x64) OS, go to following registry branch instead:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Live\Messenger

3. In the right pane, right click on any blank space, select New on context menu, and then click on DWORD (32-bit) Value.
4. Name the new registry value entry as MultipleInstances.
5. Modify the MultipleInstances and set its value data as 1.
6. Start as many Windows Live Messenger windows as you want from Start Menu.

Note that you need a different Windows Live account (MSN Passport user name) and password in order to run two or more instances of Windows Live Messenger. If you have set automatically login upon running WLMessenger, an error may pop up when additional instance is run if your login is still signed in when new instance opening. Just change to your second WL Messenger login.

Ability to polygamy running multiple Google Talk is useful if users have multiple Google Talk accounts (or Google or Gmail accounts that used to login to GTalk) or multiple profiles or personalities, and don’t want to log on and off from one account to another account every time when want to switch, or want to log in to all accounts at the same time on the same computer.

You can add the /nomutex switch or parameter to existing Google Talk shortcut, or create a new shortcut with the /nomutex command line parameter.

To edit existing Google Talk shortcut:

1. Right click on the Google Talk shortcut.
2. On the right click contextual menu, click on Properties.
3. Go to Shortcut tab on Google Talk Properties window.
4. On the Target textbox, add in the /nomutex to the end of the line so that it looks like below (or you can simply copy and paste the below syntax and replace the original).“c:\program files\google\google talk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex
5. Click on OK.

To create a new shortcut for Google Talk:

1. Right-click on the desktop or anywhere you want to place the GTalk shortcut.
2. Select New on the right click context menu.
3. Then select Shortcut.
4. Copy and paste the following line to the text box when prompted to type the location of the item:“c:\program files\google\google talk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex
5. Click on Next.
6. Give the shortcut a proper name such as Google Talk or Google Talk Multiple or Google Talk Polygamy.
7. Click OK until you are done.

If you have hex editor, you can act like a hacker and modify the bits in Google Talk program so that it will always allow multiple instances of GTalk to be launched whether the /nomutex switch is specified or not.

Launch hex editor and open googletalk.exe, then search for the following patterns in the hex editor:

Modify the string to look like the following:

004536FD . 8BC1 MOV EAX,ECX
004536FF . EB 05 JMP SHORT googleta.00453706

It’s now possible to run multiple instances of Yahoo! Messengers (polygamy feature) and log into multiple Y!Msgr accounts with just a simple registry hack. So if you need to open and log-in multiple Yahoo! Messenger accounts as you have a few Yahoo! ID or various other reason, just use the small registry registration file below that once click, will modify and merge the registry setting required to run and execute multiple Yahoo! Messengers at the same time on a computer.

Download ym8multi.zip, extract it and run “ym8multi.reg” contained inside the archive. Once the registry is patched, you can now starting and running multi Yahoo! Messenger with different login or Yahoo! ID accounts. If you want to uninstall the patch/hack, download the ym8multi_uninst.zip uninstaller which contains ym8multi_uninst.reg. Once double click on this uninstaller registration registry value file, it will edit the registry value and set it to disable the ability for Y!M 8 to launch multiple copy of instances.

Multiple Yahoo! MessengerIf you prefer to edit and change the registry setting yourself manually, without using the above registry registration file,simply launch the registry editor (type regedit at Run command), and navigate to the following registry branch: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\yahoo\pager\Test Then, on the right pane, right click on the registry editor and select “New”, then create a new DWORD registry value. Name the new registry key as Plural, and assign it the value of 1 (decimal). If some case, the value of 2 should also works. To disable or disallow multiple instance of Yahoo Messengers, simply change and set the “Plural” registry key’s value to 0, or delete the “Plural” key.
