You can still use Streamyx if you are subscribed to HSBB as HSBB is deployed over a separate infrastructure. However those living in high rise building such as condominium/apartment will have to decide between HSBB or Streamyx. TM said that HSBB can only be deployed to the base of the building(ground) and it will require copper lines to reach up to the top of the building.
TM plans to charge a flat rate of 5sen/min for calls to any TM fixed line numbers and a flat rate of 15sen/min to other operators. New PSTN numbers will be issued for HSBB users.
There are over 32 channels for IPTV(some in HD) which should be available in April 2010 for business customers. Below are some of the channels:
TM has set up this email address for any enquiries on HSBB(please do not abuse)- tmhsbb@tm.com.my There is also a customer service centre set up specially for current HSBB trial users. Those who has signed up for the HSBB trial will get to enjoy the free service till the end of June 2010.
I have heard that TM will offer somewhere around RM150 per month anyway don’t expect pricing to be below RM100/month.
Now it is only about time before TM reveal the full offerings of HSBB on the 24 March 2010 which will be initially available at Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Taman Tun Dr Ismail and Bangsar.
